This is an exciting opportunity to join our College as an organised Data Analyst within our Clinical Quality and Research function, working on large-scale medical projects.
Within this key role, you will take the lead on producing clinical audit and project reports, collecting and analysing data and using the results to develop and produce a wide range of reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy throughout the process. You will also liaise with the wider research community and public to promote research projects and communicate the outputs of research reports in an understandable manner. In addition to this, you will also get the opportunity to attend meetings with users and contribute to the decision making process for how to handle and process data.
You will be educated to degree level or hold equivalent experience in Social Sciences, Statistics or a related subject. You will have a background in data analysis and experience in producing reports and creating graphical representations of data. As such will be able to evidence proficiency in IT packages such as Microsoft (Excel in particular),‘Stata’, ‘R’ and other data presentation platforms with the ability to learn bespoke packages with ease.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as you will be working with a large network of people. Additionally, you must have excellent time management, literacy and numeracy skills as you will be responsible for coordinating a large volume and variety of project work.
