North Hertfordshire Homes (NHH) is a not-for-profit housing association providing quality homes across eight local authority areas in the counties of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.



We are currently seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join our team based in Letchworth Garden City. Working as part of our Development Team, the main purpose of this role is to support and deliver changes to core software solutions.



We are embarking upon the delivery of a multi-year IT Roadmap involving the delivery of significant transformation change which will positively impact the way we deliver service to our customers and protect the business by ensuring we operate in a safe and legal manner. This role will deal with the support and implementation of software solutions to support this programme of change. You’ll create technical specifications to match business requirements, assess the suitability of potential solutions in terms of intended outcomes and identify any limitations with potential solutions, proposing suitable migration actions.



Our ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will have knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL scripting language, HTML 5, MS Powershell and software APIs (SOAP, WCF, REST). You should also have knowledge of IT technologies covering infrastructure, data and software applications. Logical in your thinking, you’ll understand the importance of designing solutions to ensure ease of use and minimal end-user training and you’ll have a proven track record of setting realistic goals. It would be advantageous for you to hold a degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Business or similar, have experience of Aareon QL product suite and an understanding of Project and Service Delivery methodologies.
