Broadacres Housing Association provides a comprehensive range of services to approximately 5,900 homes in North Yorkshire. Established in 1993, the Association has grown both in terms of the number of properties it manages and its awareness of the needs and aspirations of its customers.
We are currently looking for a Qualified Heating Engineer to join our customer focused maintenance function. This post is responsible for carrying out the annual inspection, servicing, maintenance and/or replacement of gas/central heating systems and associated controls.
With previous experience of servicing and repairs, you will be responsible for a number of gas and heating related works to properties owned or managed by our organisation. This will include undertaking quality assurance audits on gas/carbon/oil fuel heating systems and appliances.
The successful candidate will be a qualified domestic Plumber with a relevant City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate (or equivalent) and Gas ACS assessments CCN1, CEN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1 and CPA1. You should also have previous experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sector and, as such, will be able to confidently diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions.
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
