We are currently seeking a Senior Development Project Manager to join our team. The purpose of the role is to deliver high quality multi tenure residential projects. Within this role your main responsibilities will include ensuring that all construction projects are delivered to required standard as set out in contracts (such as Homes England audit requirements and charging requirements etc); working with a range of stakeholders, ensuring that accurate and timely information is provided according to demands across the business, working with and managing consultants and contractors to deliver projects in line with best practice and all legal and regulatory standards.
You will ensure construction and technical quality is achieved to the highest standard; managing residential and commercial projects from planning stage through to defects closure / final account and taking financial accountability of projects from contract stage to making good defects, including cash flow forecasting, programme forecasting and financial appraisals / project cost reconciliation.
As the successful candidate you will have worked within a similar role/sector previously, delivering both public and private projects, will ideally hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience and will be a member or strive to attain membership of CIOB, RICS or similar. You’ll have experience of contractor and consultant management along with construction contract and documentation management and you’ll be highly organised, enabling you to plan and prioritise an ever changing workload effectively. As a skilled manager, you’ll be detail orientated, flexible and committed and demonstrate strong commercial acumen, tenacity and curiosity.
