HomeWorks is an important part of the Group providing repairs, maintenance, planned works, cleaning and grounds maintenance services to 24,000 properties, primarily within the Group, but also externally.
HomeWorks has more than doubled in size over the last 2 years, with further growth planned. This continues to be an exciting area of the business to be a part of.
We are looking for an Operations Support Officer to join the recently expanded HomeWorks team in Birmingham. Reporting to the HomeWorks Senior Operations Support Officer, the role will be responsible for the operational and administrative support for a team of Trade Engineers, Supervisors, Surveyors and Managers.
Primarily the role involves the scheduling of repairs appointments using Kirona DRS (Opti-time) and our housing management system MIS Active H. A key success measure for the role is creating maximum efficiency and ensuring key performance indicators are maintained by ensuring repairs appointments are kept, and that repairs are completed “right first time”.
The successful candidate should have a good level of general education, and will preferably have some experience of working within a repairs and maintenance environment scheduling repairs. The candidate should also have a strong customer focus and is motivated to meet targets in a busy environment.
