About the Role:
Through effective and detailed legislative knowledge ensure that Aster provides a compliant servicing and maintenance regime that delivers a “safety first” culture in an affordable, profitable, efficient and customer-orientated manner.
The Servicing Team operates across all regions to procure, manage and deliver legislative servicing, and other servicing/maintenance works and contracts. The team also provides technical support and expert guidance across the organisation on such matters relating to portfolio areas. From time to time both job responsibilities and portfolios will be reviewed and amended by the Servicing Manager to reflect changing business needs.
In order to be a success in this position you will possess a relevant technical qualification, preferably mechanical and/or electrical bias. You will have a minimum of two years experience in overseeing the performance of Outsourced Service providers to ensure service compliance in-line with our “safety first” culture. It’s important that you have an understanding of statutory requirements for Building Services such as, but not limited to, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998, PUWER regulations and Legionella. You must also be an effective communicator who embraces digital solutions to help ensure service compliance. You will be responsible for:
• Emergency Lighting
• Fire Detection and Prevention
• CCTV Systems
• Security and Door Entry Systems
• Water Quality
• Radon Extract Systems
• TV Ariel Systems
• White Goods, including commercial kitchens
• Hard Wired Life Line Equipment
