No Limits is part of the national charity MacIntyre. We provide bespoke integrated education and support programmes for children and young people with a learning disability, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

We are recruiting for a Programme Coordinator to oversee and implement high quality education packages for young adults across Buckinghamshire. This is to cover the maternity leave of the current Programme Co-ordinator (1 July 2018 - 28 June 2019) a period of approx. 12 months although of course this is subject to potential change.

About the role

You will manage the planning and implementation of the No Limits curriculum, ensuring that a full educational programme is developed for each individual student, and that their learning, social and emotional developmental needs are met. All programmes have a strong emphasis on community inclusion and you will work with multiple stakeholders to help realise these objectives.

You will ensure the successful deployment of staff, physical and financial resources for each programme to run efficiently. You will manage and mentor a small staff team of Community Teaching Assistants who will be out in the community most of the time.

What we need from you

You will model exemplary teaching and learning practice, so it is essential you can demonstrate experience of supporting people to overcome barriers to learning. You will be responsible for ensuring that each student’s learning programme is effective. You will work with advocates and families to ensure ongoing success.


A relevant teaching qualification equivalent to CTTLS as a minimum
Experience and knowledge of people with severe and complex learning disabilities
Experience in social care support and compliance with CQC
Experience developing and implementing learning programmes
Proven track record of providing constructive staff support and supervision
A full driving licence and your own transport (the role will involve travel around Buckinghamshire).

This position is subject to a 6 month probation period and you may qualify for the salary uplift with the relevant qualifications.
