An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Rugby Football League. We are seeking to appoint two Competition Administrators based at Red Hall, Leeds.
You will be responsible for all aspects of administration and the day to day running of the relevant competitions. This will include ensuring that the clubs are observing the Competition rules and maintaining Competition integrity at all times. The role is varied and involves being regularly contactable during out of office hours, evenings and weekends. The candidate should demonstrate:
An interest & detailed understanding of the sport of rugby league together with a commitment to continued development of that understanding and a passion for the ongoing development and improvement of the sport.
Previous experience in customer service and understanding the needs of the ‘customer’ who may be a club, player, colleague or member of the public
Strong organisational skills
Has experience of working in an environment with confidential information, can demonstrate an understanding of privacy and confidentiality
Has experience of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce well-presented written work
A positive attitude to Information Technology in carrying out the responsibilities of the post with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Email
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to produce minutes, letters and basic reports for any relevant internal or external persons.
Be able to work independently and manage workloads to meet deadlines.

The Rugby Football League has confirmed that it will be relocating to the Etihad Campus in East Manchester. The full move will not take place until Autumn 2021. There is an option for a graduated move from late 2019 with the North West based staff.
