We have great new opportunity for a Regional Director to take overall responsibility for the commercial and operational performance of the Cardiff Housing partnership and develop an excellent throughput of profitable development schemes.



Key Accountabilities will include:




Prepare budgets and strategic plans for the regional business in conjunction with the Residential South Board and regional senior management
Contribute to the implementation of the overall business strategy and specific regional business action plans where necessary
Agree key business objectives and targets, working with the business to deliver key target areas which may include taking overall responsibility for other development projects in the region
Be a visible and credible leader; representing the Wates Group at the highest level with all internal and external key stakeholders.




To be successful in the role you will have held a senior leadership role in a large scale house build or development environment and have experience in successfully managing teams; fostering a climate that motivates high performance where collaboration is nurtured, high performance is rewarded and employees are highly engaged.



Alongside this you will have the ability to lead and influence at all levels to deliver outstanding results, successfully develop relationships to create future opportunities and have a proactive approach to risk management and value-add.
