What you need to know about the role

This role is part of Quality Assurance team which ensures that third party systems, directives, product and customer approvals are maintained to meet business commercial strategy.

You will facilitate the continual improvement of the quality management systems and competences across the business. Report writing and internal audit plays a major part in this role and you will be responsible for a variety of activities relating to the business quality management systems,

What we need to know about you

We are looking for someone with preferably be educated to degree level or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline or should be educated to HNC level with broad operational experience.

You need to be someone who is able to communicate and influence others. You need to have excellent literacy, numeracy and report writing skills coupled with internal audit experience. You will ideally hold a minimum of ISO 9001:2015 IRCA recognised internal auditor.

Training will be provided to an otherwise good candidate. It would be beneficial for you to have an understanding of the operational processes within the business and a detailed understanding of ISO 9001:2008 is essential and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.

Knowledge and understanding of reliability management tools and techniques are key prerequisites. A current UK driving licence is essential as the job requires travel locally on site and across sites within the business requiring occasional overnight stays.
