Through the Gate and Supply Chain Manager – Rehabilitation Services – TVCRC

We are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead our Through the Gate team in this temporary position to cover secondment for a period of six months. Working for the Thames Valley Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) in this role, you will be based at our Head Office in Bicester or at our Reading Probation Office. You must be flexible to travel across the Thames Valley region, to include working from HMP Bullingdon, HMP Woodhill and HMP Springhill as required.

What will this role involve?

This post will be responsible for the support and management of a number of contracts within the CRC to work with supply chain organisations to deliver interventions and Through the Gate (TtG) services.

The brief will include working with organisations who are supplying mentoring (PACT), Restorative Justice (Thames Valley Partnership) and Resettlement (Milton Keynes College) services across the area for both CRC and NPS Service Users.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have experience of working in the criminal justice sector and knowledge of the role of the CRC in delivering probation services and reducing re-offending through interventions. Experience and knowledge of at least one of the services covered by the contracts or contract management experience mentioned above would be advantageous.

Excellent organisational and communication skills will be vital to the role, liaising with local prisons, supply chain organisations, stakeholders - including NPS colleagues, our commercial team and the HMPPS contract management team.

The successful candidate will be able to evidence working as an effective practitioner with Service Users to reduce reoffending, and also demonstrate quality assurance and performance management skills to monitor service level measures, promote continuous improvement of delivery and quality assure the services and relevant cases managed by Responsible Officers within the CRC.
