One Manchester is an innovative provider of housing and community services. Formed in April 2015 from a historic merger between two of Manchester’s largest housing associations – City South and Eastlands Homes. In the subsequent two years the Group has achieved its initial merger aspirations and is now extending and expanding (doubling) its new homes programme across a range of tenures and locations. It currently owns and manages more than 12,000 homes in central, south and east Manchester.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Growth and Development team for two Commercial & Leasehold Property Officers. The posts offer a great opportunity to assist us in delivering our ambitious growth plans.

You will assist our Commercial Manager in the successful delivery of letting, sales and management services of PRS, Leasehold and homeownership tenures including shared ownership and rent to buy. We are looking for team players who can deliver an excellent service to our customers, including the management of lease terms in line with our obligations, regulation and best practice. You will also play a key role in the day-to-day management of leasehold blocks including the management of service charges.

You will help with monitoring sales and lettings plans and managing our external agents and partners to achieve sales and lettings targets. You will take responsibility for maintaining our marketing database and updating our systems with property and tenancy information.

Applicants will be self motivated and have a strong commitment to customer care and delivering high quality, customer-focused, business-driven services to One Manchester’s home owners and leaseholders. Some knowledge of affordable home ownership and leasehold management will be helpful but most important will be possessing excellent communication skills to be able to build rapport with colleagues and customers, data analysis, problem solving and numerical skills to help ensure our projects are managed to meet financial and service targets.

Interviews and assessments will take place on Monday 30th April 2017.
