We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and experienced person to join our team.
MacIntyre is extending our exciting and ambitious programme to design and deliver bespoke support to people who have been treated, or are at risk of being placed in restrictive settings such as secure Assessment and Treatment wards.
This role has been developed to lead the set up and delivery of specialist services, ensuring people can live good and meaningful lives in their community. You will develop and provide a consistent organisational approach to delivering specialist support.
The purpose of this role will be to work in partnership with the Development Director, operational colleagues and Transforming Care Partnerships to bring creative, person centred design thinking to enable individual support to be developed. Lead the implementation and ongoing delivery of highly specialist support for people falling under the ‘Transforming Care’ criteria until at steady state running where it will be handed over to operational teams. Work positively with operational stakeholders across the system, Acute, CCG and other 3rd sector organisations.

You'll need operational experience gained within the Health and/or Social Care sector, and experience of developing and setting up new services for people with complex needs, together with a good understanding of the sector, including CQC standards and the transforming care agenda.
You will require excellent communication skills and believe in the benefits of partnership working and constantly look for ways to involve people with learning disabilities, their families and other key stakeholders in our service provision. You will need to be able to communicate with a range of professionals and ensure you can demonstrate credibility to build confidence. You’ll be resilient and someone who relishes a challenge.
The role is a national role and will require extensive travel to areas where new services are being developed. At present the key areas are North West and East and West Midlands. We are willing to negotiate the most appropriate base for each candidate dependent on where you live.
You must be a driver with your own transport insured for business use.
Pay and Rewards
Annual leave allowance of 25 days rising with service, plus statutory public holidays
