Lord Wandsworth College seeks to appoint a Head of Psychology for September 2018.
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and committed candidates to lead, manage and develop the teaching and learning of Psychology at Lord Wandsworth College. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for Psychology and Social Science and an excellent degree in a directly relevant subject. Experience in teaching A-level is essential.

The Psychology Department at Lord Wandsworth College is a small but lively and dynamic environment where ideas are always welcomed, with a consistent track record of good A-level results and with a healthy number of students currently studying at A Level in Years 12 and 13. The department offers a range of extra-curricular events, such as regular visiting speakers and trips, including animal behaviour conferences, the Bethlem Museum of the Mind and Winchester Crown Court. There is a dedicated Psychology classroom equipped with interactive whiteboard, books, magazines and access to a class set of iPads.
This is a full-time post and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute fully to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the boarding school.
