Customer Services Team Leader

The Together Housing Group is currently looking for a great people manager to join our team, and help lead the customer services team on the East side of the business, based out of Halifax Yorkshire.

The role is to provide effective management & leadership of the Customer Services Team, and to help support the team to develop skills to enable them to meet the requirements of the service.

Your normal day to day duties will look something like:

To co-ordinate the complement of staff within the customer service centre & ensure levels of service are maintained at all times.
To deal with customer satisfaction queries
To ensure that the team works to a consistently high level of performance, and address any areas for improvement or weakeness
Undertake return to work interviews in line with the company sickness policy and apply the company sickness procedure
To participate in the recruitment and selection process when required
To carry out appraisal reviews with staff, identify any areas of individual or collective training needs
Review and manage resource levels within department according to operational requirements to ensure departmental cover is maintained

In order to fulfill this role to your full capacity you will require the following skills, knowledge & experience:

Proven experience of supervising and developing a front line customer service operation
Experience of supervising and motivating staff, promoting a customer focused culture that meets the needs of and engages with customers and staff, in an open and high performing environment
Experience in monitoring performance standards which focus on delivery of customer excellence
An ability to respond to service demands through a proactive, flexible and organized method

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business use is required.
