The Campus Security Team Leader will be the senior day to day point of contact for the campus security team for the City Airport Development Programme Delivery Partner and the London City Airport Terminal Management team. The Team Leader will command and control of all access and egress points for the construction related vehicles and personnel.



Responsibilities:


Manage and lead team of Campus Security Officers to ensure that site security is maintained in line with policies and company expectations
Monitor and manage staff welfare and performance to ensure that standards are maintained, including time attendance, training and development plans, inductions, welfare visits
Ensure that Campus Security operates with the highest levels of Health and Safety and Security.
Provide the key point of contact for CADP Delivery Partner, LCY Management, Airport Stakeholders and Emergency Services as requested
Collate reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences
Provide customers, stakeholders and other airport users with a warm and friendly experience
To assist with various ad hoc duties as reasonably required from time to time




Experience and Personal Attributes:


SIA License in Door Supervision holder desirable but not essential
Good communicator and excellent inter-personal skills at all levels
Relevant previous experience and proven track record of conflict management
Experience of managing a team of multi-cultural shift working staff.
Ability to multi task.
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
Full UK Driving Licence
Proven ability to work unsupervised and take accountability for areas of work
Ability to manage time effectively and deal with conflicting priorities while remaining calm under pressure
Knowledge of airport security and procedures an advantages




Hours of Work:



Following a roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 (6) days per year, including Christmas Day and Bank holidays. 12 hours shifts following a 4 on 4 off roster, including night shifts
