We are currently recruiting for a Development Team Leader to join our Head Office based in Woolpit. With a focus on Billing and Industry systems, you will be responsible for leading project teams and ensuring that practices are adhered to, providing regular performance reports and project updates to the Business Systems Manager, and other general line management duties.



Further responsibilities will include: –




Analysing user requirements
Database design and support, liaising with colleagues performing database administration roles to ensure data integrity in company systems
Maintaining security controls relevant to company systems and databases
Development of in-house reporting and collaboration systems
Adhering to relevant policies, procedures and standards, and helping to develop these where needed. Adhere to best practice in all areas of the role.
Maintaining all software and database objects in the appropriate source/version control systems and working with the team to ensure these are secured adequately.
Act as deputy for the Business Systems Manager when needed.




About you


Previous project management or Team Leader experience, ideally alongside experience in staff training
Experience of SSRS development
Knowledge of interfacing/integrating systems, systems development methods (e.g. Agile), and website development and maintenance
Knowledge of database design and development (T-SQL) using Microsoft SQL Server (2000/2005/2008) or Oracle
Development experience using .NET technologies or equivalent
Experience of Sharepoint/Sharepoint Development, Visual Studio Team System, SSIS (or DTS), and BI, OLAP and related reporting technologies would be beneficial but are not essential.
