Purpose of the role
The Recruitment Researcher will be based in our offices in Crown Place, London. This role focuses on proactively identifying and developing a pipeline of candidates for ongoing roles within the banks Risk and Credit functions.
A large proportion of the duties revolve around proactively sourcing talent using LinkedIn and other job board CV searches. The outcome being to provide long lists of candidates to the Technology Recruitment Business Partnering team for each of their roles.
Added to this there will be an element of project work, internal vacancy promotion, resource planning, networking and interview scheduling.
The role is intended to be developed under the supervision of the Senior Recruitment Business Partner and will offer a structured career progression path to becoming a Recruitment Business Partner.
Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering
Support the Lead Recruitment Business Partner in providing a seamless, service driven experience for the hiring managers where quality of hire and time to hire are paramount with cost savings being a secondary but important objective.
Support Lead Recruitment Business Partner in identifying person specification for vacancies and provide detailed guidance and feedback on job descriptions.
Support Lead Recruitment Business Partner in providing guidance on the vacancy approval process, including governance and HRIS management.
Candidate Attraction and Resourcing
Source potential and develop a continual pipeline of candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research and relationship building.
Develop a ‘long list’ of candidates for each role, providing the Senior Recruitment BP with 15-30 ‘potential’ candidates to take forward.
Develop an extensive network through leveraging user groups, blogs and networking events.
Develop new and innovative approaches to attract quality candidates using a variety of networking tools .
Utilise CV search functions from a variety of job boards.
Prequalify potential candidates to determine their qualifications through profiling, psychometric assessments and behavioral based interviewing.
Articulate and sell the Close Brothers value proposition to candidates via networking events, professional networks and face to face candidate interaction.
Generate both internal and external candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging.
Foster relationships with passive talent.
Ensure constructive feedback is given on all CVs and interviews.
Research competitors packages, financial and non-financial.
Assist the Recruitment Business Partnering team with their duties and administration where appropriate.
Arranging interviews and handling diary management for candidates that are directly sourced.
Reporting and Systems
Build, develop and maintain in-house candidate database and workflow products e.g. candidate/job tracking spreadsheet.
Report on all analytics gained from recruitment systems or external sites e.g. Linkedin.
Implement simple, effective and track-able resourcing, record keeping and administration processes.
