Staff wishing to apply for a secondment must get approval from their line manager in advance of their application to ensure that they can be released from their role. Staff will be expected to have completed 12 months in their substantive role before applying for secondments.
Ashland Road West Registered Care Home is looking to appoint to a secondment post to cover maternity leave which will consist of 3 days per week Assistant Manager and 2 days per week Support Worker.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a development opportunity into management.
Ashland Road West Care Home provides support for 10 people with a learning disability, many of whom also have physical disabilities and complex health needs.
We are looking for someone who has the flexibility, drive and desire to deliver successfully in the two roles. You must have the values and commitment to deliver high standards and the professionalism and integrity to be effective in this unusual post.
We highly recommend a visit to the project prior to applying.
The successful applicant needs to be flexible as the start and end dates of the secondment will depend on the maternity leave but anticipated post will be from July 2018 to end of March 2019
