An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our expanding team in Shrewsbury.


In this role you will provide care and support services to people living in their own homes, which respects the persons privacy dignity and choice and focuses on enabling the person to remain independent and active for as long as possible

You will be delivering a high standard service that supports and assists people to achieve maximum independence by meeting daily living and personal requirements as set in a the person individual care and support plan, taking into consideration the persons preferences and cultural context.

You will assist with the on-call rota, key work complex care plans, assist the Field Care Supervisor in planning and allocating care to staff, supervise and mentor new staff to a high standard and carry out quality audits under the direction of the Field Care Supervisor.


· A commitment to and understanding of good customer service

· Previous experience in providing a care service for people is essential

· A NVQ 3 in Care / Care Certificate or equivalent and willing to commit to further trainings and development

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

· Full UK/EU Driving Licence and access to a car is essential
