We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Careers Advisor to join our Early Careers Team and lead on the design, management and delivery of the Apprentice strategy and support the wider Trainee agenda.
Reporting to the Early Careers Manager you will be responsible for defining and managing the process for the recruitment and development of apprentices, including a clear governance plan with good business engagement, as well as create an infrastructure within the business to support the ongoing management of Apprentices and Trainees
Alongside this you will also manage the quality of apprenticeship delivery, Wates Apprenticeship Training Academy (WATA) and Wates Digital Apprenticeship Service Account; maximising return on investment from apprenticeship levy and effectively working with preferred training providers, ensuring contracts and service level agreements are in place.
To be successful in this role you will be a highly driven, organised and a motivated team player with experience and understanding of the apprentice landscape and funding. You will also have the ability to influence and manage key stakeholders and suppliers , coupled with good project management and project delivery skills.
Frequent national travel including to our head office Leatherhead is required.
