We are currently seeking a Beauty Salon Technician, to join our Trowbridge campus. Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and cleanliness of the beauty salons and theory rooms, monitoring appointments and the reception area (as well as assessing students on reception duties), helping to prepare products and equipment for beauty treatments and prepare sterilising cabinets and associated materials and equipment for classes and salon sessions. You will also be expected to undertake stock control on a weekly basis, provide guidance and support to students and deal with general enquiries from students and clients in the salon.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, will be a qualified Beauty Therapist (NVQ 2/3 or equivalent) and will ideally hold an Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1 or equivalent). It is essential that you have an understanding of current Health and Safety requirements and a basic knowledge of first aid as well as being highly organised with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. You will be a strong team player who can build rapport easily with colleagues, students and clients and you will be willing to contribute to individual learning plans, enabling students to gain the knowledge needed to pass their course successfully.
