Holker Estate is seeking an experienced property professional to lead the delivery of repair and maintenance programmes, improvement projects and new developments. Holker Estate is a privately owned rural estate in south Cumbria; with land holdings extending from the Lake District to the shores of Morecambe Bay and exceptional historic buildings including the Grade II* listed Holker Hall. The Holker Group of Companies operate diverse business enterprises including let property, farming, forestry, leisure and tourism, stone and slate quarrying, property development and estate agency. This is an exciting time to join Holker Estate as we have a land bank of over 500 houses to develop in the next 5 – 10 years. We are working with external partners, who share our passion for quality, to design and build a number of the new housing sites, whilst developing in-house expertise. The Property Services Manager will lead and develop teams to provide maintenance and construction services to the Holker Group, as well as supporting the Land & Property Director in the delivery of new housing developments. This role offers a diverse range of work and scope to develop professionally. It will include programming works, writing specifications, procurement and full construction management on a variety of projects. The successful candidate will have proven construction and property experience, with an RICS or equivalent professional qualification. Experience of historic building conservation would be an advantage. The role is client facing and customer focussed; delivering exceptional standards of service and inspiring others to do so.
