Therefore we take a proactive and assertive approach to supporting people away from this activity. Our aim is to support people to recover from the effects of rough sleeping and move away from a street lifestyle permanently.
There is a unique and exciting opportunity within the new Westminster Street Outreach Service (SOS) for a dedicated Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Outreach Coordinator. The successful post holder will have an understanding of the Working knowledge of the 2014 ASB Act, and other relevant legislation around ASB and will be the point of contact with within the Westminster SOS team ensuring that those who are targeted under ASB legislation understand their rights and are supported to exit the streets safely before any enforcement measures are taken towards an individual.
This role will ensure there is a coordinated multi-agency approach to rough sleeping hotspots areas within Westminster. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is able to advocate on behalf of those who rough sleep to a variety of audiences including but not limited to, the police, council officials, businesses and the wider community.
