Purpose of the role

As the Compliance & Financial Crime Analyst, you will be responsible with assisting the Head of Compliance Operations in providing regulatory support to a range of stakeholders. You will also assist the Money Laundering Reporting Officer in ensuring financial crime compliance, including in relation to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption and fraud matters.

Key responsibilities

Compliance Operations

Ensure the delivery of effective compliance training, liaising with Compliance colleagues to develop appropriate course content and with L&D to facilitate delivery
Provide regulatory support to Group senior management and central functions
Assist with the management of regulatory relationships, including via the submission of non-prudential returns
Assist with setting Compliance policies and standards and facilitating training on these
Track and communicating on regulatory developments
Produce high quality management information in relation to Compliance activities
Monitor 1st line compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders, including non-prudential returns to regulators and high quality MI for the Board, Risk Committee and GRCC, developing additional reports as required
Assist with maintenance of procedures for identifying and managing conflicts

Financial Crime

Assist with considering reported concerns (including in relation to high risk clients) and filing Suspicious Activity Reports
Assist with the preparation of monthly management information.
Assist with the annual preparation of a consolidated Financial Crime Risk Assessment.
Support the MLRO with any other duties that support the implementation of the financial crime compliance program.

Risk & Compliance

Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
