We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to be based at Dysons Chambers, Leeds on a Permanent contract for 35 hours per week.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Data and Insight Lead in creating and maintaining an insight based culture, improving services and performance by creating fit for purpose business intelligence dashboards and reporting. This role will inspire colleagues to use both self-service and curated reports and dashboards, enabling the entire organisation to operate efficiently, effectively and achieve our strategic objectives. The Business Intelligence Analyst will respond to business requirements for insight by designing reporting and dashboards as well as inspiring demand by demonstrating what insight can deliver to the organisation. This role will play a key part in coordinating analysis and insight from subject matter experts across the business to “tell the story” of Yorkshire Housing’s performance.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, some of the duties of the role will include you to be be a subject matter expert in BI, including SSRS, SQL and dashboarding techniques. You will undertake the requirement of gathering and analysis, evaluating alternate solutions, designing processes and systems which include: user impact considerations, cost and benefit analysis and processing specifications. You will be expected to prioritise work, manage time effectively and complete tasks within agreed timeframes and also work with the Data and Insight Lead in delivering statistical analysis, predictive analytics and GIS systems.
