About the role...

A field based role which requires the flexibility to travel within the UK, and occasional visits to our Head Office in Kingston upon Thames. Reporting to Manager of our Digital Specialist Team, the Digital Specialist will be responsible for expanding our client base within the practicing accountant’s sector for Twinfield, Basecone & OneClick. The Digital Specialist will also be responsible for new business sales of Twinfield and Basecone with both the Accountancy & SME market space.

As a Digital Specialist you will require a good understanding of the UK Accountancy sector & SME Finance Department space, as well as a sound knowledge of accounting procedures.

You will be self-motivated but also be able to work as part of a vibrant team, with a proven track record of delivering against targets in a sales role.

Good communication skills are vital both internally and externally as you will have daily contact with key stakeholders in businesses and will be expected to communicate at all levels from ‘C’ level executives to accountants and bookkeepers, understanding the requirements of the business finance department.

As Digital Specialist you will play a pivotal role in building and growing the customer base of Wolters Kluwer TAA. You will have a good working understanding of ‘cloud’ technology and be able to understand and feedback requirements from your customers into the team. This will involve product requirements, marketing and accounting.

We’re looking for an experienced sales person who is results driven and can demonstrate proven sales performance.

About You...

Educated to minimum degree level or equivalent relevant work experience;
Previous experience of working in a similar target based sales role within a dynamic, fast paced commercial environment with a proven track record in achieving targets;
Solution sales experience;
Software demonstration skills;
Sales expertise in the Financial/Accounting Software sector;
Interest and understanding of the online accounting market;
Maturity and ability to quickly build trust and credibility with prospective clients;
Initiative and ability to work autonomously;
Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams and remotely;
The ability to communicate at all levels of management including partner/C level;
The ability to quickly pick up and learn product, market trends and drivers for change and make suggestions to gain a competitive advantage;
Attention to detail and follow-up;
Self-motivation, discipline, energy and passion;
Ability to be creative, and good at idea generation;
Current, clean driving licence
