We are recruiting for casual/bank support worker's to join our community team. We are looking for support staff who ideally have a varied care working experience, including personal care, awareness of dementia and LD. The casual/bank role can be demanding, but is also very rewarding.
Shifts can be offered at short notice and can include any hours to cover for staff absence. Shifts may also be offered in advance for upcoming holiday cover.
You will be responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities, and who may have a range of complex needs. Your duties will include:
Ensuring the highest standards of support are maintained in relation to their physical, behavioural and emotional needs.
Supporting some of our people with personal care needs.
Being involved in outdoor activities and events with the people, we support.
Liaising with colleagues as well as other professionals.
Experience of working with adults with varying skills and abilities, could make you an ideal candidate for this role. Although experience is not essential it is your values and attitude which most counts. Due to our community location, a driver would be preferable.

Ideally, you will have a QCF Level 2 qualification in Social Care or equivalent or be willing to work towards this qualification.
