Casual Support Workers* Ref: CA/114

£7.83 per hour


Ad-hoc shifts when required, to be worked over 7 days (including Bank Holidays) as a combination of earlies, lates, waking nights and sleep-ins.

*Successful applicants for casual work will be required to pay £44.00 to cover the cost of their DBS application.

We are currently recruiting for Casual Support Workers to work in our Astbury service in Middlesbrough. Your main tasks will be to support a small number of clients with complex needs and learning difficulties with their everyday needs. Additionally, you will provide personal care and enable the people being supported to participate in activities both in their home and the community. This is an excellent opportunity to gain or extend experience in a learning disability service. You will benefit from joining an experienced team and supervision will be provided.

Your personal qualities and skills will enable you to work effectively with people with long term support needs. You will be well motivated to work alone as well as part of a team and be able to show understanding of the issues relating to learning disabilities.

Previous experience is not essential as training and development is provided.
