Ardingly College is seeking to appoint a Graduate Assistant Teacher of Drama to support the Drama department from September 2018 for a fixed term period of up to 12 months.
The role involves assisting the Director of Drama in the life and work of a busy and successful Drama department. It would suit somebody considering a teaching career, though no teaching experience or qualification is required.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Drama, who has a love of learning and who wishes to share that passion with enthusiastic and energetic young people.
The role would suit recent graduates from university or drama school with ambitions to direct or teach, students at universities or drama schools on a third-year placement or an actor or director moving from the theatre into teaching, prior to training or first full job.
College accommodation may be available, with meals during term-time. The salary for this position is £12,000 - £14,000 per annum, depending on whether accommodation is required.
