Job Outline

As a part of the Towergate Home Street Pricing team you will contribute to the achievement of business objectives through the delivery of efficient analysis, pricing and reporting service to Towergate senior management and insurer partners. As an analyst in the Street pricing team you will be responsible for delivery of technical rates to the market, monitor, understand and explain performance internally and externally, manage relationships with senior management and insurer partners



Principle Objectives and Responsibilities including the following


Utilise a variety of software tools and data sources to analyse the underwriting performance of the Towergate zones.
Produce regular performance reporting for Towergate senior management, senior analysts and insurer partners illustrating historic and future expected underwriting results and explain movements and their underlying causes.
Understand key performance indicators and provide insight and advice to management on areas where opportunities exist or other action is required.
Analyse underwriting performance and advise on the underwriting and pricing of existing and proposed Towergate general insurance products.
Produce output to agreed deadlines and required standards of accuracy.
Work collaboratively within the Home Pricing Team and build relationships becoming a recognised, reliable contact for both internal and external customers
Develop knowledge and skills by undertaking training in line with agreed development plan including mandatory training and keep up-to date with technical, legal and market developments via use of various learning materials.
Embrace change and delivers new solutions and innovation within a team environment by considering wider options.
To conduct the business of the Company at all times in a courteous and efficient manner.
To undertake any other task as may reasonably be required by the Company.





Knowledge Required


Good knowledge of pricing and data manipulation techniques.
Good knowledge of the insurance market and of insurance products available.
Good knowledge of all products and policies in own area of work.
