We would like to recruit some enthusiastic people to join our care home team in Linby village, a few miles north of Nottingham. No previous experience is necessary but you must be passionate about providing great quality care for older people and share our values.
You will be providing practical and emotional support including personal care to the nineteen people living at Sherwood House, which is a fully refurbished and modernised period home with beautiful gardens.
We have several positions available:
Post 1: 19.5 hours per week, rotating shifts to provide 24/7 cover – permanent position
Post 2: 26 hours per week, rotating shifts to provide 24/7 cover – permanent position
Post 3: 22 hours per week, night cover – temporary position
Post 4: 'Bank' cover as and when needed to fit your availability.
All successful candidates will be required to work on a shift basis over a 24 hour period including weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins; a 33% bonus is paid for waking nights and double time paid for Christmas and New Year shifts. In addition, an allowance of £35.62 is also paid for sleep-ins.
