We are now looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the efficient operation of the electrical function. Reporting to the team leader / shift engineer, you will follow routine planned maintenance schedules, reporting to breakdowns and offer reactive and preventative maintenance to electrical plant when required. You will consistently work to a good standard of health and safety in a team working environment
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with knowledge of electrical industrial systems, maintenance of PLC and SCARDA systems, fault finding and 17th Edition IEE regulations. You will hold a recognised Electrical apprenticeship (HNC level or equivalent) with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and work with technical data. Knowledge of calibration systems and electrical maintenance of Motors, Drives and Inverters would also be an advantage,
Working 12 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (covering days and nights)
