Fieldhead in Boroughbridge
Ad-hoc shifts when required, to be worked over 7 days (including Bank Holidays) as a combination of earlies, lates, waking nights and sleep-ins.
£7.83 per hour
We are currently recruiting for Casual Support Workers to work in our Fieldhead service in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. Your main tasks will be to support a small number of clients with various disabilities and/or health issues with their everyday needs. Additionally, you will provide personal care and enable the people being supported to participate in activities both in the house as well as the community. This is an excellent opportunity to gain or extend experience in a learning disability service. You will benefit from joining an experienced team and supervision will be provided.
Your personal qualities and skills will enable you to work effectively with people with long term support needs. You will be well motivated to work alone as well as part of a team and be able to show understanding of the issues relating to learning disabilities.
Previous experience is not essential as training and development is provided.
