We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Cambridge to lead the Mechanical Services elements of our projects ensuring that we meet programme, cost, and safety and quality objectives.

Key Accountabilities will include:

Work with the planner to ensure a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded in agreement with the client
Work with the BIM department, producing fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard to allow clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing.
Informative procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage the safety, health and environmental policies on the projects, ensuring that we have a safe working environment at all times
Challenge the design selection to ensure recent innovative changes are incorporated and continually drive to afflict the systems at design stage to maximise our returns, reduce project duration and promote off site manufacturing
Effectively manage risk and opportunities
Resource forecast; assess future requirements whilst ensuring that we monitor efficiency and individual performance of our onsite labour or sub contract labour
Manage the quality control, delivery and installation of all materials procured on the projects ensuring all suppliers are in line with our integrated project delivery strategy
Promote the company’s reputation through professional first class delivery & client satisfaction.

To be successful in the role you will be a qualified engineer who will drive the design, co-ordination, delivery and handover of all projects, using your M&E expertise to work win, bring clarity to situations and challenge the ‘norm’ when required.

Alongside this you will be a strong communicator with the ability to engage at all levels and be a solid team player.
