A vacancy has arisen for an NPD Manager based at our Tipton sites. Reporting to the Retail Factory Manager, you will be responsible for driving the NPD for multiple customers across fresh Pork products. Driving the concept and process activity to ensure we retain our competitive edge and grow our business through innovative product development, you will be responsible for the effective and timely launch of new products. This will involve managing and directing activity across sites and communicating effectively at all levels, both internally and with our customer base. Working closely with all stakeholders you will drive the NPD agenda as a whole with our suppliers ensuring all innovation and industry best practice expectations are met.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a related field as well as relevant experience within the food industry. You will be a real foodie, passionate about innovation, and have a proven track record with launching new products including both concept and process development as well as effective planning and organisational skills. You must also be an effective communicator, able to confidently liaise with key people within our customers and our business, engage and influence others, be an experienced and resilient problem solver and be able to demonstrate strong IT skills.
