The Role



To help the Head of Department optimise his time and assist in driving actions throughout the business.

We are looking for a dynamic Management Assistant with the organisational skills and ambition to help the Head of Department be at his most effective. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and have the skills and confidence required to deliver against the key responsibilities.



Key Responsibilities



· Assist in organising all aspects of the Head of Department role within the business

· To ‘own’ actions, both his and others, on behalf of the Head of Department to ensure they are completed in agreed timescales

· To act as an interface between the Head of Department and the wider business to organise meetings and flag issues

· Maintain stakeholder confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

· Prepare information/agendas for meetings, in some cases attending meetings on the Head of Department behalf

· Assist in the creation of presentations

· Owning small projects on behalf of the Head of Department

· General administration including the printing and filing of reports in preparation for meetings

· Preparing communications to go out to the sales force

· Keeping accurate records

· Assist in managing the office facilities



Skills and Experience Required



· Great organisational skills

· Attention to detail

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· An enthusiastic and self motivated attitude

· Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, outlook & power point)

· Previous experience as a Management Assistant / Personal Assistant would be advantageous
