We are now recruiting for a Performance Marketing Manager, based in Kingston upon Thames. You will be responsible for the management and implementation of performance marketing across Travel Republic’s UK and IE markets. You will support with strategic development and work closely with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and the Performance Marketing Executive. You will also work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth and efficiency from performance marketing.
Performance Marketing Channels
Management and implementation of PPC, Meta, Affiliates and Re-targeting channels, optimising activity to drive profitable growth. Work closely with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and Marketing Director for guidance and expert insight.
Ensure budget is used effectively to achieve commercial goals.
Regular (daily, weekly) reporting on campaign performance and conduct in-depth analysis for relevant stakeholders and to inform implementation recommendations for optimisation
Ad hoc reporting or other administrative tasks requested by the Senior Management Team
Assist with the development of strategies for account structure, bid optimisation, creative testing and keyword development.
Ensure quality checks are carried out on marketing activity to ensure accuracy and consistency with the website.
Develop and build remarketing strategies across paid search channels
Maintain a structured copy performance monitoring and testing matrix for PPC and re-targeting activity.
Set up of new PPC campaigns, account audits and re-structures to ensure that best
Optimise and drive growth across Meta Search Channels
Regular audits on all performance marketing channels to ensure activity is running effectively
Ensure all key changes /updates on paid performance channels are logged and shared amongst the team
Ad extension set up and optimisation
Identifying keyword growth opportunities and ensuring adequate visibility on the existing keyword set.
Launch and manage Affiliate marketing channels for Travel Republic – ensuring brand fit. Propose commercial terms with guidance from line manager in negotiation.
Be part of new beta tests (that may involve IT development within the team) as and when required.
Maintain an effective and accurate log of all changes / updates to accounts.
Input into team roadmap for your actions and any IT Development requirements, on approval from Senior Performance Marketing Manager
Market & Customer Insight
Work collaboratively with the E-Commerce team, Trading Analysts and IT Developers (Performance Marketing) to analyse landing page performance, bounce rates, quality score to inform changes to optimise performance. Present compelling cases for change to drive improvement.
Active monitoring of the competitive landscape specifically on search and meta channels, sharing insights on regular basis with team
Work closely with Meta, Paid Search & Re-Targeting channels to understand the competitor landscape across UK and IE markets
Work closely & collaboratively with colleagues in the Marketing team (Brand and CRM) to gain further customer insight for each market that can inform targeting, messaging and timing of online acquisition activity
Provide Market insight of the Performance Marketing landscape for the UK and IE markets to key internal stakeholders
Keep up to date with emerging marketing channels, consumer and digital trends and share these within the overall marketing team
Be mindful of the customer experience at all times, to optimise the experience
Work within an agile team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Support the co-ordination of initiatives so that common processes are used and that central initiatives and best practice are rolled out to benefit multiple markets.
Work closely with the Senior Performance Manager to develop and maintain relationships with key partners
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting, with support and input from the Senior Performance Marketing Manager who leads the team.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Considerable experience of online performance marketing in B2C on large scale campaigns.
Educated to degree standard or equivalent
Strong project management – ability to manage and deliver several marketing activities at the same time.
Experience in management and implementation of PPC activity to optimise growth and margin.
Experience in management of Meta channels
Experience of effectively managing Affiliate channels
Passionate about performance marketing with excellent analytical abilities.
Experience of bid management and attribution tools.
Knowledge and experience managing Remarketing campaigns
Excellent PC skills – use of Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint.
Experience in writing SQL queries advantageous
Great team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Works well under pressure and thrives in a fast paced environment.
