Candidate - Successful salesperson within the industry selling into retail project specifications. Charismatic, personable, outgoing, quick rapport builder, effective at establishing trust quickly, with a consultative sales approach with a proven background of selling into Tier 1 and Tier 2 high street retailers.

The Position

Cutting edge design led global manufacturer of commercial lighting seeks a unique retail specialist Business Development Manager to head up their retail specification vertical. You will be focussed on top Tier high street retail chains that are refurbishing retail stores or new store role outs. As Business Development Manager you will have the advantage of winning large retail chain specifications and passing the administration onto your dedicated Account Manager allowing you to focus your time expanding your client base. As top provider and recognised brand in the lighting industry you will also have the benefit of receiving numerous inbound leads.

The Package

* £55k - £65k Basic Salary

* £90k OTE uncapped

Experience Required

You will be a successful sales person with a proven background of selling through project specifications and role out contracts into high street retail chains. It will be an advantage if you have specifically sold commercial and designer lighting into retailers, however is you have sold another product into retail project specifications then this will be of great interest as the primary focus is on the character fit of the candidate. The retail vertical is the most prestigious and lucrative within the company and the successful candidate will hold a lot of credibility internally and externally both in the UK and internationally, even leading and influencing the latest retail lighting industry trends.
