What do you call a person who is afraid of Santa Claus?
What did the Christmas tree say to the Christmas stocking?
If the end of the year is on December 31st, then what is the end of Christmas?
Don't worry, your chances of getting hired won't be based on whether or not you know these answers. Or will they?...
With the opening of the Christmas Ice Rink, I couldn't help but break out the Christmas related content. Here at Off to Work, Christmas is our favourite time of year. We don't believe it's ever too early to start celebrating and while we are on the lookout for Santa's sleigh, we are also looking out for a superstar to join our team as an Ice Rink Marshall. Could this be you?!
All skills required for the role will be taught, so if you've never worked an event before - never fear - we've got you. You just need to be able to skate, be a bundle of positivity with a great attitude and also seeking full-time hours. You will be the first point of contact to the customers, so the ability to smile is a must!
Your primary role will be to ensure the safety and welfare of our guests on the ice and also general assistance throughout the rink. This could range from distributing tickets in the box office to handling the skating boots - from customer interaction (both good and bad!) to singing Christmas songs. No two days will be the same, but both will be packed with fun and full of festive cheer.
So, what's in it for you? I'm so glad you asked:
All that's left is to click apply now and a member of the team will get back in touch!
Answers: Claustrophobic. "Aren't you sick and tired of just hanging around?". The letter 'S'.
