We are seeking a capable and experienced Band 7 Site Practitioner/ Site Manager to join the Senior Team at our client's busy acute Hospital on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
As the most senior Nurse on site, you will co-ordinate services across the Hospital and will be the first point of contact for ward staff, outside normal working hours.
Duties include; attending cardiac arrests, acting as expert clinical resource, providing specialist advice to staff and managing other acute situations.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the Agenda for Change banding system, but applied their own salary scale, which is up to £48,127 for Band 7.
Penalty rates are 36% upload for night duty. Sundays and Bank Holidays are paid at 72% in Guernsey.
Combined with the lower tax rate and no VAT this equates to a salary of over one band higher than the UK/NHS equivalent.

Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC.
Significant post-graduate Acute or Critical Care experience at senior Sister/Charge Nurse level as a mimimum.
Completion of a recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification.
ALS certified, or able to update and proficient at managing Cardiac Arrest situations.
Ability to work autonomously and manage acute situations.
