We are seeking a capable and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our client's busy acute Orthopaedic Ward team at their major health facility. Our client is situated on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The Orthopaedic Unit treats a wide variety of elective and trauma Orthopaedic conditions and is supported by a seven-bed ITU/ Surgical HDU and a three-bed Medical HDU / CCU, with advanced technology.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the Agenda for Change banding system, but have applied their own salary scale, as above.
Combined with the lower income tax rate and no VAT this equates to a salary of over one band higher than the UK-equivalent Band.
The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000. It has some of Britain's finest and best-kept beaches, an especially mild and sunny climate, and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St. Peter's Port, the island's capital.
Our client delivers a diverse range of healthcare services, including advising, diagnosing and treating patients within the hospital, and supporting people with disabilities in the wider community. This hospital provides excellent Orthopaedic Surgical care, supported by modern equipment and a very high standard of nursing care.
Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC.
Minimum of one year's post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
