Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our client's busy Level 3 Critical Care team, at the major Health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the Agenda for Change banding system, but applied their own salary scale, as above.
Combined with the lower tax rate and no VAT this equates to a salary of over one band higher than UK Band.

The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000. It has some of Britain's finest and best-kept beaches, an especially mild and sunny climate, and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St. Peter's Port, the island's capital.

Our client delivers a diverse range of healthcare services, including advising, diagnosing and treating patients within the hospital, and supporting people with disabilities in the wider community. This hospital provides excellent Acute Surgical and Critical Care, supported by the latest medical technology and a very high standard of nursing care.

Person requirements:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
Minimum of one year's post-registration experience in an ICU setting.
Able to manage a ventilated patient with minimal supervision.

The benefits of working in Guernsey include:
- A higher-than-UK salary
- A £10,000 bonus scheme paid over four years; £1,000 at completion of one and three years service and £4,000 at two and four years.
- A flat rate 20% income tax.
- A relocation package and on-site Staff Accommodation or subsidised rental accommodation provided.
- A continental lifestyle, where the people are friendly, and crime is very low.
