Steel Fabricator

We are looking for time served steel fabricators to be able to work from drawings supplied, or a verbal description; to fabricate all manner of mild steel structures/chute works/ducting/guarding.

The job responsibilities will also include:

• Co-operate with members of the team to ensure works are completed within target time scale
• Operate Mobile Plant in line with site rules
• Works may consist of cutting out, tacking up, welding, cleaning up and coating (painting) of whatever is being fabricated
• Ensure all company and customer equipment e.g. machinery and tools, is treated with respect and care
• Acting professionally and responsibly while representing the company
• Follow company quality procedures at all times and complete all quality documentation
• Maintain workshop housekeeping to a high standard
• Carry out daily recorded check of workshop equipment allocated to yourself prior to use
• Qualifications/Experience needed:
• Time served experience and qualification in Fabrication are essential
• Other desirable certificates:
• Abrasive Wheels
• Telehandler
• Forklift
• Lifting and Slinging
