Kidderminster (Worcester)


39 Hours per Week

Up to circa £66,000 per annum*

We are looking for a dynamic and motivational Strategic Asset and Development Manager to lead the Group's asset management and development services to achieve excellence. This role is set at Head of Service level and as such you will manage success through a diverse team of internal staff, external consultants, contractors and developers. In particular, you will lead the managers involved in delivering the Group's asset management, development, and sales functions.

You will ensure our strategic asset management and development strategies work together to achieve the best outcomes to support the Group's Business Plan whilst providing an excellent customer experience and value for money.

You will lead the end-to-end process for creation of viable and effective development schemes, construction of new homes, and regeneration programmes for the Group's multi-tenure Development Strategy, which includes rent, sales and shared ownership homes.

You will have experience of working at a Head of Service / senior management level in the development of homes sector. You will also be able to demonstrate the understanding and ability to manage housing stock assets strategically to achieve optimum financial performance.

You will demonstrate your abilities to manage and develop staff through change, use data to align service delivery to meet customer and business needs and development of service processes to support performance management targets.

We are offering 39 hours per week (full-time) with the opportunity to work flexibly, securing the right person for the role is essential.

*The salary falls within band £53,797 to £60,527 with a 10% car allowance. Starting salary will depend on qualification and experience, incremental progression may be available on a two-yearly basis
