I'm currently recruiting on behalf of one of the largest global names in Defence and Aerospace. They are a trusted and highly regarded name in the industry, creating a range of products, from satellites being launched into orbit, right down to hardware smaller than your pinky nail!

There is a team that focuses on communications products who are currently hiring due to increased global demand for their range of solutions - one of the vacancies available now is for a talented FPGA / ASIC Engineer to join the team in Stevenage.

The successful FPGA / ASIC Engineer will be joining an expert team building ground-breaking hardware solutions with multiple applications. You'll be primarily designing, building and integrating FPGA's and ASIC's into the target hardware, working in lockstep with other engineers to ensure the products are built as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your expertise with a company that will give you access to the most exciting projects, and will encourage your personal learning and development!

The ideal FPGA / ASIC Engineer will have:

  • A degree in electronic engineering or an equivalent subject
  • Experience with either FPGA or ASIC build, technologies and their tools
  • Good understanding of design flow and VHDL simulation tools
  • Experience with Linux and Perl or TCL scripting is advantageous, but not essential.
