A pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation located in Cheshire are looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join their Site Facilities department on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday.

The core focus of the role will be to co-ordinate and plan the maintenance activities for the engineering team and providing your technical support for maintenance and repair activities in order to optimise production and site services assets whilst ensuring compliance, safety and GMP regulations are adhered to at all times.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and inspection routine activities
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities for the engineering team
  • Reviewing Maximo to arrange work towards small projects
  • Reviewing work requests and committing to timescales
  • Liaising with other departments i.e. Production and Quality regarding PPM that may affect them
  • Identify and purchase of spares required for PPM activities (Planned Preventative Maintenance)

Suitable candidates will have working experience with equipment/ systems including AHU (air handling units), boilers, steam, heat exchanges, purified water, pumps, valves, filters, bearings and belts and will have a formal engineering qualification i.e. HND/ HNC/ C&G / Apprenticeship/ Time served. Candidates will have a strong background working in a highly regulated/ GMP manufacturing environment such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, API (active pharmaceutical ingredient), food, FMCG or chemical.
