The Role
As part of your role, you will be delivering planned, responsive, and required maintenance services as requested by the Technical Services Supervisor, always completing any works carried out to a high standard. Responsibilities are as follows:

Ensure your compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Carry out maintenance on various routine repairs and work on joinery, painting and decoration, general building works, ground works or general plumbing.
Completing effective site log books on time and accurately.
Carry out and complete risk assessments before carrying out any work as per instructions within any relevant permit.
Provide supervision to maintenance assistants on a day-to-day basis.
The Person
For this role you will need to have a professional individual who has experience in maintenance and be competent in manual handling, working at height, confined spaces as well as legionella & asbestos awareness. You will also have the ability to identify faults and carry out building repairs.
To be considered for this role with you need to have the following:

NVQ Level 2 or high BTEC/City &Guilds or equivalent
Formal apprenticeship or craft trained.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and COSSH
Strong communication, numeracy, literacy and IT skills.The ideal candidate may also possess a IPAF/PASMA licence, CSCS Card or IOSH Managing Safely. Experience of working within Healthcare Services is also desirable.
