Role: Sales Manager / Business Development manager
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + Commission + Car
1 day is required in the head office per week (South Yorkshire) . Other 4 days you will be managing your own diary. Unique opportunity to work for one area leading heavy steelwork Specialists. They are looking for a Sales Manager / BDM with experience working in the highways sector to help identify, generate, and increase business opportunities nationally to help maximise the revenue of all highways structures, bridges, platforms.

Job Role

To identify all opportunities to promote across new opportunities and existing customers. You will be expected to do this through your existing contacts, new business and chasing leads.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, produce, and implement sales tactics in line with annual sector-based communicated Sales plans that will maximise revenue from existing and new services
Develop relationships with new and existing customers to achieve targets, focusing on specified and national customers for growth opportunities.
Respond to customer issues to ensure a quick, appropriate, and mutually beneficial resolution.
Through the use of published constriction sales leads and industry insights, you will be the expert in the area on new schemes and projects being released and already underway.
Produce quarterly sales plans with the regional manager
Deliver KPI's successfully across customer visits, site visits, quotes and conversion rates Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills

Sales experience in a multi-site environment
-Civil or Structural engineering background (desirable not essential)
Minimum of 2 years experience in the highways or related industry
Civil Engineering or Construction sector
Proven track record of achieving targeted sales to a budget.
Strong network across key client accounts e.g. Utility companies major national highways contractors/ Construction companies / Civils companies.Desirable Skills/Qualifications

Experience spending time operating at a Sales level in the highways industry
Experience in the heavy steel structures/bridges, highways sectors
