A front runner in the footwear industry are looking for an exceptional fashion PR to join their start- up business, as a PR and Communications Manager.

A brand new premium British sustainable fashion brand are offering an experienced PR in the industry an exciting opportunity to join the business as they look to launch the products online in Spring 2022.

The founder has been in the footwear industry for over 30 years and owns one of the biggest fashion brands in the UK. They are passionate about making footwear in a socially responsible way.

As the PR & Communications Manager, you will play an integral part in the launch and be responsible for PR responsibilities driving brand awareness and bring the brand messaging to life for both offline and online channels. Like with any start-up the learning and career opportunities will be endless!

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

-Deliver the PR plan to drive media stories and recognition and communication with influencers in the UK.

-Identify and develop relations with journalists, influencers and the media

-Responsible for the brand placement/exposure, ensuring all communication and activity are on-brand.

-Responsible for sample management for photography

-Responsible for planning, creating and posting engaging content

-Update press listings and PR calendar and document all press coverage across all channels (offline, online)

-Grow social channels, fostering conversations and building a community of followers

-Facilitate all in-bound imagery and product requests as the key point of contact for media.

-Provide regular reports with KPIs and performance tracking to assess each PR action

REQUIREMENTS

-4/5 years minimum PR/Marketing experience working for a fashion retailer with a proven track record of building brand awareness and buzz through both traditional press and influencer campaigns

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-A good understanding of the role that social influencers can play in delivering value for a brand

-Passion for fashion, footwear and sneakers (with a sensitivity to sustainable products desirable)

-Strong MS Office skills; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is an advantage

-Experience in using web analytics tools (Google Analytics)
